Artwork

  • What file formats do you accept?

We accept all standard artwork formats (.png, .jpg, .psd, .pdf, .ai, .tiff, .gif, and so on). However, to guarantee the best quality of stickers, we suggest .ai formats in the CMYK color mode, or other artwork format that is at least 300 dpi.

  • CMYK colors and RGB colors (Important)

We can only print CMYK colors, so we will convert your image to CMYK for printing if it is RGB color mode. Unfortunately, RGB is widely used for monitor display, so many colors cannot be precisely printed. Therefore, colors can only be converted to their closest matches in CMYK, which in this case, may cause serious chromatic aberration and badly influence the quality of stickers.

If Pantone colors or other special colors are used in the image, please inform us. We will convert Pantone colors to CMYK equivalently. Most Pantone colors can be used for printing, but there are still risks of chromatic aberration. Therefore, we suggest customers convert images to CMYK in advance.

  • Resolution and printing quality

For best print quality, we recommend vector artwork or high resolution images at least 300 dpi or higher. Low resolution image files will blur the stickers or even cause mosaic on stickers. To avoid these issues, you can use the following instructions to check whether your image resolution is proper for printing:

    1. If you are not familiar with graphics, you can use the chatbox in the lower right corner on the window for customer service to check the resolution.
    2. If the image is vector artwork (.eps, .ai, or .svg), this then will not be an issue to you.
    3. If you use Photoshop, you can follow the instructions below: set the height and width, and make sure the dpi is 300 or higher.

  • Outline fonts and minimum size

We suggest the font size be at least 6pt. If you need to print smaller words, we suggest the size not be smaller than 4pt.

If the files are vector images, please outline the words.

If you use Illustrator, please follow the instruction below:

  • How to setup the artwork for full bleed printing?

You can note in the order that you don't want to leave a white border and make a full-bleeding sticker. If possible, StickerHD's graphics staff will try to help you with the image file.

However, in some cases, if you want to make a full-bleeding print sticker, you must leave a 2mm bleed surrounding the cut line. As shown below:

If you don't have a bleeding leaving file, we can make a white border or another color border on the sticker.

We recommend asking SitckerHD customer service before ordering a full-bleeding sticker.

  • How do I indicate a cut line in my artwork?

Generally, you just need to upload the image without indicating the cut lines. We will deal with it and provide an online sample for you to check.

If you have personal needs on cut lines, please open another layer and indicate the cut lines in it.

  • How to print with white ink?

Various methods are waiting for everyone to explore.

    1. White ink printing increases color saturation
