"叢" (Kwe.co) has printed numerous custom stickers with StickerHD over the years. Recently, they launched their "Genesis" Opening Exhibition – The Birth of a New Generation. This exhibition gathers the distinct voices of multiple cutting-edge, rising contemporary artists. Today, let’s follow StickerHD's footsteps to take a closer look!

The moment we stepped into the venue, our sharp-eyed editor immediately spotted a lucky draw activity right next to the counter. The wall was covered with various prizes of all sizes, which beautifully included the custom Metallic Sticker Sheets printed right here at StickerHD! It was absolutely impossible not to feel tempted!

Our editor couldn't resist joining in on the fun and ended up winning an exclusive "Ping An" (peace and safety) talisman charm! As the saying goes in Taiwan: When you are navigating the chaotic real world, staying blessed and protected is an absolute must!

After enjoying the exciting warm-up activity, it was time to dive into the core of the exhibition. On that day, Yun, the founder of Kwe.co, graciously provided StickerHD with a detailed guided tour, sharing the creative philosophies behind each artwork and artist.

Even before entering the shop, you can spot a massive needle-felting installation from afar, crafted by the artist An Ye Tang (安爺堂). The wool-felt art is not only incredibly colorful and cute, but it also perfectly channels the internet meme humor that is so popular nowadays.

Our editor, completely struck by the overwhelming cuteness, was instantly drawn to the animation work by artist Mao Mao Happykawaiifriends. The animation features a plethora of kawaii characters accompanied by lively, upbeat sound effects. While it looks like a typical lighthearted cartoon on the surface, it uses brilliant black humor to dissect heavy, trending social topics such as education, gender, politics, and race—making it incredibly easy for the audience to connect, reflect, and engage in discussions.

Displaying a powerful and highly distinct personal style in the venue is the artist Chen Nian-ying (陳念瑩). She mostly utilizes 3D mediums such as paper pulp and clay for her creations. One can easily capture subtle messages of local culture or the minutiae of daily life from her works, which exude a unique vibe of Taiwanese retro mixed with a touch of absurd madness.

A single swivel chair paired with a tablet is how the artist Ning Sen (寧森) invites viewers to step into his immersive art experience. Through the input and output of new media interacting with the body's physical senses, he initiates a deep dialogue, prompting viewers to join him in contemplating life, death, memories, and taboos. Free of overly complex displays, it delivered a direct and powerful emotional impact straight to our editor's heart!

Absurd, novel, and hilarious—these are the strongest impressions left on us by the artistic duo Sid & Geri! Using video installations as their core medium, they stimulate the senses through video animations, clever editing, and audio effects. Combined with a fantasy-like narrative, they humorously showcase the creative essence of an "ashtray vase."
