On a busy summer afternoon, the ringing phone interrupted the office buzz. Our team leader quietly listened to the heartfelt wish conveyed from the other end of the line.

"Grandfather Zeng's calligraphy marks the final chapter of his life."

Grandfather Zeng's grandson brought over hundreds of calligraphy works to StickerHD, hoping to transform them into meaningful gifts for family and friends as a tribute to his grandfather.

After thoughtful discussion and planning, we decided to use elegant washi stickers to recreate Grandfather Zeng's remarkable calligraphy. A keychain inscribed with "The greatest joy comes from doing good" was designed to embody his spirit, allowing loved ones to carry his memory with them. For the cover, we chose rice straw textured stickers to honor the deep love and bond between Grandfather Zeng and his wife.

Inside, we included his signature, eulogy, and frequently used red seals, along with two specially chosen imprints, "Chang'an Joy" and "Open Mind," as a gentle reminder to friends and family not to dwell in sorrow. These memorial gifts not only pay homage to Grandfather Zeng's artistic achievements but also serve as a profound celebration of his life's legacy.

Eulogy

Mr. Zeng Wenyu (1936-2023), aged 88, was born in Hui'an County under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province. Orphaned at a young age, he crossed the sea to Taiwan with his elder brother at the age of 14, starting from scratch to establish a jewelry business. His company trained over 20 apprentices, many of whom became successful in their own right.

After achieving business success, he returned to his hometown annually to build bridges, pave roads, and construct homes, leaving a lasting legacy. He shared a profound love with his wife, Ms. Zeng Luo Liangzhu, often described as "a harmonious union of jade and pearl." Together, they raised four sons and one daughter, all of whom have excelled in their respective fields and contributed significantly to society.

In retirement, he developed a deep passion for calligraphy, diligently practicing and studying works of ancient masters. He served as an honorary director of the Chinese Calligraphy Heritage Association and an executive director of the Changchun Painting and Calligraphy Association. His works were exhibited both domestically and internationally, earning numerous accolades.

On June 19th, Mr. Zeng Wenyu passed peacefully into the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. His enduring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
