Resolution: An AI-generated image may look sharp on screen without having enough resolution for print. Check it at the actual print size and aim for at least 300 dpi to avoid blur or jagged edges.
Background removal: For die-cut stickers, we recommend a transparent PNG or another file with the background removed. Carefully check for white fringes, ghosting, or unwanted background around the edges.
Color gamut: AI images are usually generated in RGB. If your product uses CMYK printing, colors may become darker or less vivid after conversion. This is a normal difference between color gamuts.
Bleed: Full-bleed designs need sufficient extra artwork beyond the trim line. AI-generated images usually do not include print bleed, so avoid placing important details right against the cut edge.
Do not generate cut lines: For die-cut stickers, you do not need AI-generated sticker outlines, white borders, or trim lines in the image. Provide clean, original artwork, and we will set up the cut lines for production.
Check the details: AI images can contain incorrect text, irregular lines, distorted details, or unnatural shapes. Zoom in and inspect the artwork carefully before sending it to print.
